Fun at the Fourtner's

We planned 4 extra days after the family reunion to spend in Washington with our Tumwater friends before heading back to Tennessee. (As most of you know, we moved from there last year after living there for 5 years, so we still have lots of friends there). Marti Fourtner graciously offered their home for us to stay. I'm not sure they knew what they were getting into to... But, we accepted her offer and stayed with the Fourtner family for our last 4 days in Washington.

They were SO good to us. Their warm hospitality and generosity made us feel right at home. We really appreciate the sacrifices they made to help us feel comfortable and to accomodate us. They even planned activities for us to see many of our friends and even invited several families of our friends over for a barbeque so that we could see everyone. We all had a lot of fun spending time with them and seeing all of our great Tumwater friends and renewing friendships.

Jarem and Tessa in the car playing gameboy on the way to Tumwater

Jesikah in the car, a little scraped up on her lip and chin from her fall

Playing Rockband with the Fourtner's. Jesikah and Ally singing with Eric and Daryl on the guitars and Alex on the drums

Alex found a new love for the drums...we don't own that game, but they sure enjoyed it

Even Luke tried to take a turn singing

Jarem and Connor playing in the Fourtner's backyard on their waterslide

Jarem and Connor having a great time together

Jesikah's friends all around Luke's little pool trying to persuade him to go in.

Jarem and Connor climbing up the slide

They had a blast! Connor was our neighbor in Washington, and they are finally old enough to really have fun together now that we are gone. :(

Alex and his friends playing Rockband on the night of the barbeque

Several of the kids that were at the barbeque with my friends, Marti and Pamela, standing behind. Marti was a real trooper hosting everyone and barbequeing. We had a lot of fun seeing everyone, and the food and swimming was great too.

Trevor's birthday party the following night

Tessa, Trevor, and Jarem playing with the Star Wars guys...

Birthday party goofy faces

Daryl wrestling with Jackson, Trevor, and Taylor

Another shot of the birthday party kids...they went and saw the movie, "Up", and Tessa loved it.
Thanks again Fourtner's for showing us a great time and putting up with us!
