Family Reunion Day 1

The following day, June 22nd, everyone starting arriving for the family reunion.  Excitement was in the air.  It didn't take long for the cousins to all get reacquainted.

My sister, Candace, was in charge of the reunion this year.  She held it just about an hour from Boise in the Cascade mountains.  It was a good thing she kept it close to home, because she was almost 9 months pregnant.  We met in Boise and then split up between the Science Center and the Boise Zoo.  We went to the Science Center.

Alex was wildly popular with the little cousins.  He used his ipod touch as bait. :)

He loved all the attention.  Tessa and Jarem were also excited to see him after a week away.  My mom is on the right side of the couch.

A couple of Alex's favorites were Ashlyn and Jaydon

Tessa and Kadie cemented their relationship at the Nauvoo pageant last year.  They get along very well and are so good to each other.  Here they are with some noise making straws they made at the Science Center.  Unfortunately, Kadie had to go back early and Tessa missed her dearly.

Uncle James was also a hit with the kids.  He had a mimicking dog on his ipod that got lots of attention.  He is the only remaining "single" one in the family, but is engaged to be married in September.

Candace and Aaron were in charge of the reunion.  It was a lot of fun, and I appreciate the time they put into it.  It was amazing all that Candace could do at 9 months pregnant.  She looks great, don't you think?

Alex was excited to meet up with his cousin comrade, Colton.  They are the two oldest cousins.  Alex is the oldest being almost exactly one year older than Colton.  They have been buddies since they were little.

Here, Cindy is showing off their new baby.  Orin is 5 weeks old here.

Joel was also proud to show off the new addition.  He passed him around and allowed almost everyone to hold him.  They are cute new parents.

That night we had dinner and settled into our cabins.

Whose house is that? Is it a rental? It's funny cuz I was thinking how it reminded me a bit of your old house in WA, especially with the light tan colored couch.
