March Arctic Blast

We had the strangest precipitation this past Sunday.  Ice pellets fell from the sky for about 7 hours on Sunday night.  It was like nothing I've ever seen before.  It made a click, click, clicking on the windows until about 2am Monday morning.  Then, it snowed on top of the ice for about half of the day Monday.  Since then, we haven't really had any more snow, but below freezing temps have kept it from melting and the roads have been REALLY bad.  It takes a long time for 10 city snowplows to cover all of Clarksville.  It is SO spread out and there are so many country roads.  Needless to say, school has been cancelled all week.  Oh, the makeup days that will follow!!!

Monday, Jarem, Tessa, and Jesikah spent the day out playing in the snow.  They made snow angels, wrote in the snow, sledded in the laundry basket and on cardboard boxes, snowboarded, and rode their snowpants down the stairs in back.

They liked riding down these stairs on their bottoms
