Grandpa and Grandma's House

In order to get the deal on plane tickets, we had to fly on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.  We flew there on Wednesday morning arriving in Salt Lake around 10am.  By the time we got our luggage and our rental car it was almost noon.  We drove straight to Burley, Idaho to my parent's house stopping mid-way for lunch.  We met my sister, Candace and her husband, Aaron and family there who also had Spring Break.  We spent the rest of Wednesday and also Thursday there with them.  My dad treated us all including my brother, Mike and MJ and family to a Mexican restaurant that night.  It was good.

The next day, we spent the morning picking up some branches from the pruning of the fruit trees.  My dad had Alex help him pull a dead tree out that he had wanted to get rid of.  My dad teasingly calls Alex his "horse" as in work horse. :) When that was finished, Alex suggested they go catch the baby lambs.  That is always an adventure for all the kids.  My dad said they could catch the two oldest lambs and  he would go ahead and put bands on their tails and boy parts.  So, the chase began.  It is always so funny watching them catch the lambs.  The lambs are much faster than you would expect being only a few weeks old.

My dad told Jarem to go pull on this rope, so Jarem did.  He pulled and pulled but couldn't get it out.

My dad can be kind of a joker.  The reason the rope wouldn't come out is because it had grown into the tree.  He was just teasing Jarem having him pull on it. :)
