We've known since mid-October that we would be moving this summer. Eric accepted a fellowship in Charleston, South Carolina for Neuro-radiology. It's a one year fellowship, and after that, we plan to move West unless we fall in love with the place and can't leave. :)
It's good that we've had that much time to get ready because we had a lot of work to do in order to get this house ready to sell. Slowly but surely, we've got it all done. We are exhausted, but our house is officially listed for sale. There are still a few small jobs to do like straightening some closets and the pantry (ugh), but for the most part, I think we are ready.
We've loved this house even though it has required a lot of maintenance. It's a beautiful and spacious home and we will miss it. But even more, we will miss the good people of Tennessee. We have lots of good memories here and have met lots of good people and good friends in Clarksville, TN. It has provided a good place for us to raise our family these past 6 1/2 years.
