Regardless of our busy schedule, Eric still had a wonderful birthday because he got his golf clubs he picked out on our anniversary. The kids were all excited to get gifts/cards for him.

Alex doing a funny pose showing the football that he got Eric with orange Tennessee boxers inside...he is about 5'7 1/2" now. He is only about an inch shorter than Eric and I.
Jesikah gave him this card along with some orange slices candy. The card had a nice verse that rhymed.

I made 2 pies for him for his birthday. Unfortunately though, I didn't finish making them until too late for them to cool and eat before going to bed. So, we ate pie the next night. His favorite is lemon meringue. The second pie was a cherry pie with a crumb topping on top.

i feel ya on august being busy...also our anniversary and 3 birthdays! happy belated to eric! he's gonna be so awesome in the bishopric! he was my first guess until all those rumors went around, lol! gotta love the rumor mill, hehe. ;) you're an awesome wife....2 fav pies!! what a lucky man!
