13 Months Today

This little boy has discovered how to make all kinds of messes.  He now knows how to get into cupboards.  He LOVES taking things in and out of a container.  He also loves putting lids on and off or stacking bowls or cups.  He was in heaven this day when I was cleaning out the Tupperware drawer. :)

New words:
Night-night "na-na"
Eye "aaa"
Ball "ba"
Toys "tts"
Drink "tst"

Milestones:
Walks full-time now (about a week ago he stood up and decided he was done crawling and was going to walk full-time, and he has ever since)
Knows where his eyes, nose, teeth, and tongue are
Knows a lot of words if you ask him to get something
Knows how to get mad when things don't go his way(sometimes scratches faces of someone he doesn't want)

New Loves:
Still loves books the most
Animals (he loves reading books about animals and stuffed animals. Tries to make the animal sounds)
Balls (he loves throwing and fetching balls)
Blocks (he likes to build with blocks but doesn't want them to fall)
The stairs (he goes for the stairs every chance he gets)

Doesn't like:
The page in his "Feelings" book about Hurt and Ouch.  He gets really sad.  He used to cry whenever we turned to that page.  Now he just gets a sad face and makes a little whine.
