This year he kind of lucked out spending the first two days in boise with my sisters family. Then gained a new interest in fishing once he got to grandpas.
I still haven't figured out if he really loved fishing or if he figured out that fishing is grandpas passion and could get him out of work. Either way, he went fishing with grandpa and his uncles two of the days he was there and had a great time.

Funny how kids will do anything that's not work :) Alex does look like he's having fun, though. I don't see him smiling often.
