Alex and Jesikah headed back out for some more fun.
Jesikah is helping Jarem get the raft out.
Jesikah pulling Jarem along
Eric pulling them both out to sea
Alex demonstrating his mischevious side...sneaking up to dump Tessa.
And, there she goes...I didn't even know it was coming, just snapped the picture at the right time.
Jesikah really enjoyed just floating on this flotation device, here she got washed up on shore.
Tessa taking a break
Jarem and Tessa playing
I got lucky to catch all four of them together walking towards shore all doing something different. I told Jarem he was busting a move. I'm not sure what Jesikah was mad about.
And the mischevious one strikes again. Alex and I got in a bit of a seaweed fight. He ended up with slimey seaweed down the back of his shorts more than once, but he finally got even.
Jesikah in her favorite spot
Alex and Eric trying to catch waves body surfing. There weren't many big waves though, but they still had fun trying.
Tessa tried a little of everything
Jarem pulling the raft out again. He liked to pull the raft out, get in, and float into shore.
Eric getting some shade.
Jarem attacking me with kissing after we all got showered and cleaned up.
We took a little golf cart ride around the island after playing at the beach and before dinner. Alex drove and I sat in the passenger seat while the three other kids sat in the back. (This picture was taken Sunday morning before we left the island...poor Jarem's face looked even more red).
On our ride around the island, Alex generously stopped periodically so I could take pictures of unique and pretty flowers. This is a yellow hibiscus. It was so BIG and amazingly beautiful.
Some sort of pink lily
On our ride, the girls really liked this house. It has pastel colored rails on the top balcony. It was quite a small house. They thought it looked like a doll house.
Grandma once again came through with an awesome dinner of pulled pork and mustard sauce as well as sweet potatoes, coleslaw, and corn.
Eric is ready for dinner and the BYU/Oklahoma football game...he's wearing his team colors. Even Steve wore his BYU shirt that T.J. had given him.
It was an awesome game. Go cougars! Eric had planned to go to the game several months ago when several of his college buddies decided to go, but then he found out he was on-call. As it turned out, he wasn't, but he didn't find out until a week before, so it was a little too late. For Eric, not only would he have loved to watch BYU beat Oklahoma, but it was in the new Dallas stadium. And for those of you who know Eric well, you know he is an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. But, we had a great view from his Mom's big screen TV.
Here I am watching the game while holding an ice pack on Jarem's face. He liked this ice pack that grandma had filled with beans, rice, and herbs and kept in the freezer. It really did feel good. We all were a little pink at the end of this day, but Jarem (our very light-skinned boy) was quite red on his cheeks and nose.
