2 Proms the same weekend: Prom #2

Saturday night, Tessa went to Camas High School Prom with Harrison Cole! Again, Harrison and Tessa have been friends since we first moved here almost 3 years ago. Their friendship started when they would ride the bus home together their sophomore year and they became true friends! Tessa has been so blessed with an amazing friend group since we have lived in WA. Her friends are fun and have high standards and are adventurous. What a blessing it has been. She enjoyed her time with Harrison and the rest of the group at Camas Prom. The pictures didn't turn out as well as Prom #1 because it was cold and windy and rainy. We did our best to get pictures, but everyone was freezing!!!

2 Proms the Same weekend: Prom #1

Tessa's Mormon Prom or Mo-Pro as they call it, was just two days after Jesikah got home from her mission. I was so happy that Jesikah got to be home and help Tessa with her hair and makeup. It was nice for me not to have to stress about that and they had some sister bonding time. Tessa looked so beautiful! She went with Jackson Clark, who she has been good friends with for a long time. They had an awesome time! Tessa is always the life of the party and doesn't care if she has a formal dress on or not, she will dance her crazy moves!

 

Jesikah's Homecoming!

Jesikah's arrival home from her mission was such a beautiful and wonderful day!! We missed her so much and she arrived home such a mature and spiritually strong young woman! Her spirit and influence to each one of us has been felt every minute since she arrived! It is wonderful having her home! When she was released as a missionary by the stake president, he invited us in the room and had her share one last testimony as a missionary, it was beautiful and powerful and so special. Her strong spirit and love for all will influence so many throughout her life. She truly gave her all on her mission! Sadly, we only have a short 2 1/2 weeks with her before she heads to college, but we will make the most of it.
